Global Diagnostics has been supplying an Ultrasound service to Leicestershire County and Rutland Community Health Services on 5 hospital sites since August 2008.
The service provided has allowed the waiting list to remain at 2 weeks during a period when referrals have increased by 18%. The service has been highly professional with good feedback from all our referring General Practitioners on the clarity and usefulness of the reports.
The Global Ultrasound staff who provide the service have proven flexible in tailoring the service to meet our particular needs as well as completing extra urgent requests and additional sessions as required. I have no reservation in recommending Global Diagnostics to other organisations.
I have been using direct access MRI and Ultrasound offered by the Global clinic for over a year.
The system is highly efficient and enables me to investigate patients swiftly (always within 10 working days) and reporting is usually the same day and received by fax. Urgent requests are accommodated whenever possible and communication is excellent. If onward referral to secondary care is required following an investigation, images can be sent promptly to the appropriate specialist if the Global clinic are given details.
I have been highly impressed by the service and will continue to use it regularly.

The convenience of parking, timekeeping and the care and attention given to patients and their accompanying family or friends is excellent.
