Teleradiology Services

Diagnostic Imaging can sometimes become a limiting factor within hospital systems in patient management, delay initial treatments which can lead to a reduced likelihood of a successful outcome for the patient.

We all want to provide the best possible care for our patients but there are going to be occasions when clinical demands outweighs capacity. This is when Teleradiology and Global Diagnostics can provide an important complimentary support role to Healthcare Partners.

Through a synergy of patient focus, great people and modern technology, we can provide Hospital and Health care managers flexible tailored solutions that can help to deliver shorter waiting lists and cost savings.

How do we do it?

Our people

We have a national and international Virtual Reporting team of Radiologists with expertise across a broad general radiology base as well as a sub-specialty faculty of secondary and tertiary level opinions in every sub-discipline across the breadth of diagnostics. Our radiologists have close on-going contact with clinicians and referrers and are always available at the end of the phone for further consultation with the referring doctor.

Web based technology

We employ the latest generation web-based telemedicine network that includes ‘Global Link’ our fully integrated HL7 compliant Radiology Information System (RIS) and DICOM-compliant Picture Archive and Computer System (PACS).
The ‘Global Link’ is easy to use, intuitive and accessible and can be integrated securely into clients Information Systems. The system is robust, stable and responsive enabling us to deliver radiology services with minimal lead times.

Flexible Structure

Our operational structure provides our Health Care Partners with the ability to access our service as and when they need us. The RIS PACS technology, along with our unique and innovative high usage of teleradiologists allows us to flex our reporting levels up and down with comparative ease.  Our service can also be scaled to meet the requirements of a solo practitioner through to a large teaching hospital.

Technical support

Technical support is provided by 24/7/365 “follow the sun” support and backup for reporting radiologists and clients. We have three distinct IT support teams – based in Western Australia, Ireland and the UK to ensure the continual support of the service.

Understanding

As an end user of teleradiology services ourselves, we have an acute understanding of the services required by our healthcare partners and use operational and clinical tested models of service delivery which we are continually refining to ensure the effectiveness of the service we provide.
