Opened to patients on 25th February, Global Diagnostics facility at Arklow in Co Wicklow, Ireland.
Global Diagnostics are the current providers of radiology services on behalf of the HSE in the community radiology centre at the Primary Care Health Centre, Castlepark, Arklow, Co Wicklow.
Global provides a full computed radiology Xray and digital Ultrasound service from the Clinic from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday transmitting images via our secure web-based Global-Link Teleradiology system for immediate analysis and reporting. Our radiologists utilise voice recognition software to facilitate rapid turn-around-times.
The digital images and diagnostic report are readily available to the referring clinician on their desk-top monitors and appropriate timely treatment is then instituted.
Global Diagnostics and our sister enterprise Imaging the South (ITS) in Western Australia has a 13 year track record of delivering real-time diagnostics to regional rural and remote healthcare. The synergies were compelling for The HSE Project Team in selecting Global as their diagnostics partner and we look forward to delivering high quality care to the patients of Wicklow in the years to come!

Directions
From Dublin (N11)
Drive south along the Arklow bypass. Take exit 20 (Arklow North). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the R772 (Signed Arklow) and drive for 2.4km’s. Follow the road around the sharp bend. At the roundabout take the second exit going over the bridge. At the T junction turn left. Then take the first right into Laffins Lane and at the end of the lane, proceed through the car park. Turn right at the exit. The Health Care Centre will be on the left.
From Wexford (N11)
Drive north along the N11 from Wexford, take exit 21 (Arklow south). At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto R772 sign posted Arklow. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and continue for 4km’s. At the next roundabout take the second exit signed Arklow. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit sign posted Town Centre. Proceed down the hill turning right at Joannes Cafe onto Castle Park and follow the road around the sharp left bend at the top of the hill. The Health Care Centre
will be on the right.
